PCB June bed taxes up 10.4 percent

PANAMA CITY BEACH — A tax charged on hotel stays in Panama City Beach increased by 10.4 percent in June compared to the same month last year, a sign of robust tourism growth, officials said.The bed taxes, which are charged on hotel stays and short-term rentals, are up 13.5 percent for the fiscal year, which began October 2016.
