New Wine Festival In South Walton: Harvest Wine and Food Festival at WaterColor

 

Wine festival season is on the way in South Walton, Florida. The Destin Wine Charity Auction Foundation informed the public that a new event is making its debut this year.  The Harvest Wine and Food Festival will take place in the beginning of November, from the 2nd to 5th. The food and wine celebration promises to be a new and exciting experience. The Harvest Wine and Food Festival will give us locals and our visitors the chance to taste the world’s finest wine. It will also give them the chance to appreciate food that complements the wines. This wine celebration will happen at the WaterColor Beach Club and the Cerulean Park in beach town of Watercolor, one of the most beautiful communities on Scenic Highway 30a. The occasion dates, locations, and costs for every day are as follows; 

 

Day 1 

 

The first day, Thursday, November 2nd promises to be an exciting day. The major event of the day is the Celebrity Winemaker Dinners. Locations and wine merchants will be disclosed later. Tickets for the event are available and sold for $150 each.

 

Day 2 

 

Attendees at the festival on the second day, Friday, November 3rd are in for a treat. The major event for the day is the Al Fresco Reserve Tasting. Time for the event is 6-8pm. The Al Fresco Reserve Tasting will offer festival-goers a large selection of rare vintage wines. Tickets for the event are available at $200. The event will take place at the WaterColor Beach Club. Day 3 

 

The third day will be on Saturday, November 4th. The major event for the day is the Grand Tasting. Time for the event is 1 – 4 p.m. The Grand Tasting is the celebration’s headliner event. It will represent the season of harvest at the beach. Grills and temporary stations staffed by big name culinary specialists and local eateries along the Emerald Coast of Florida. Additionally, around 150 wine tasting stations will be set up.  Tickets for the event are available at $150 for general admission. There is also an exclusive VIP invitations for  $300. The grand tasting will take place at Cerulean Park. Cerulean Park is located at 45 Watercolor Blvd W, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459. Silent Auction

 

It’s a Destin Wine Charity Auction Foundation has been a part of many popular wine festivals through the years, including the Seeing Red Wine Festival, Sandestin Wine Festival, and the South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival held every Spring at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin.  You know this event will have a fantastic silent auction.  The silent auction will begin at 6pm on Friday, November 3. The auction will feature an assortment of uncommon wines and other valuable prizes and experiences. The auction will end at noon on Sunday, November 5. You can also help Destin Wine Charity Auction Foundation by purchasing merchandise and wine while you are at the Harvest Wine and Food Festival

 

Happening At The Same Time 

 

The annual MountainFilm On Tour at Watercolor will be held the same weekend.  Take note of this as it will increase the amount of people there but also so that you can plan to enjoy both events.
