Local Park Now All-Inclusive

Santa Rosa county’s most recent renovation strives to increase inclusivity for visitors and residents.  Optimist Park is 17.8 acres and all equipment and components of the park are now compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).  The ribbon cutting was July 16, 2018. ADA upgrades to the existing walking track and restrooms are to completed in the near future.  Santa Rosa County has made headlines for efforts made for those with special abilities.  Optimist Park is another example of the county leading the way for inclusivity.
