Golfing In Paradise: Panama City Beach Golfing

Panama City Beach, Florida is quickly becoming one of the most popular places to live and play in the United States and is known for its sugary white beaches, but did you know that it is the go-to destination for golfers as well? Everyone knows that Panama City Beach has some of the most beautiful beaches on the Emerald Coast of Florida, but some of its most loyal fans are the casual and professional golfers. For many years, Panama City Beach has boasted the best golf courses on the Florida Panhandle. Here are a few places I am certain will lure the golf enthusiasts:
- Hombre Golf Club
Hombre Golf Club can host both experienced and novice golfers. I’m in the fourth year of my club membership here, and I can brag that I have participated in a twenty-seven hole championship course that is a favorite for professional golfers from different parts of the country. I have yet to perfect my swinging but I am working on it. My visits here are always educational as there are instructional and learning centers in operation.

- Bay Point Resort Golf Club
Bay Point Resort is also a lovely place which can guarantee a splendid time for tourist and locals alike. One of the highlights of Bay Point’s golfing is driving from hole to hole and enjoying the scenery. It is a thirty-six hole golf course that is located in a beautiful, established resort so you can stay inside the resort for spa services and dining if you’d like.
- Holiday Golf Club
Holiday Golf Club is an eighteen hole golf course, and I have experienced an autumn outing with my friends here. The course is established and appreciated by locals and tourists looking to take advantage of the beautiful scenery that Bay county’s Panama City Beach offers.

- Shark’s Tooth Golf Club
One of the most loved and visited courses in Panama City Beach is Shark’s Tooth Golf Club, located in the gorgeous community of Wild Heron. It is minutes to Scenic Highway 30a and sits next to growing Inlet Beach. Shark’s Tooth is an eighteen hole course with frontage on Lake Powell.
